I’m back!
How have your holidays been so far? You’ve either been on vacation for a week or only for a day... but either way, how have they been?
*Random helpful hint – don’t press the shift button five or more times, it activates “sticky keys” which isn’t fun. Just don’t try it.
This shall be a short post because I can’t think of much to say. I think I’ll just share a conversation my parents, my sister and I had the other day:
Mum: you used to be allergic to watermelon didn’t you?
Sister: yeah I did. What’s Oliver (*our cousin*) allergic to again?
Mum: he’s lactose intolerant
Sister: oh, so he can’t eat bread?
Dad: we don’t know if he’s allergic to bread, he’s not old enough to eat solids yet.
Me: lactose intolerant is when you can’t have milk and other dairy things.
Sister: oh, I thought it was when you’re allergic to toast and stuff because it’s called lack – toast
Ok. I think that’s all I’ll write today. Oh, I just realised, the heading of this blog doesn’t make sense anymore. I was going to give you all a full encounter of how my trip to the snow was, and it was going to include how snowboarders always seem to act rather nonchalance. I also picked that heading because I had the song “Pour Le Morde” by Crowded House stuck in my head for the entire week and “you act so nonchalance” is one of the lines in that.
My dad just dropped/ smashed the glass ball that goes over the light globe in his study. I wonder where we’ll get a replacement one from, it’s not like there’s a shop called “glass balls that cover your light globes ‘R’ us” there is however (and this is fairly random) a shop which I pass on the way to school that sells nothing but doorknobs. Everyday when I pass it (when I say everyday I mean the days I don’t catch the bus to school) I am always fascinated by the fact that they not only decided to dedicate an entire shop to doorknobs, but they also decided to only sell silver one’s, most of which are the long sort and not the round sort. I don’t know what the shop’s called, but calling themselves “silver doorknobs that are the long sort ‘R’ us” probably wouldn’t attract many customers. Except for those, like me, who are curious as to why someone would have a shop that sold nothing but doorknobs.
I should probably go delete the part of this blog that says “I can’t think of much to say” now that I’ve blabbed on aimlessly about doorknobs.

HAHAHAH love the "...R US" shop names lol.
I'm so bored I've made a list of all the foods I don't like. Smoked chicken is #1. Even ahed of cucumber and celery- and EVERYONE knows how I feel about those. I had to cut it up the other day for a salad for mum and her friend, and I was nearly SICK. ikky. You should make a list!
BYE!
Wait, what were you putting in the salad?? The smoked chicken? I don't like chicken anymore, I can't eat it. You know the back bone that they leave in full chickens? That grosses the life out of me.
I have made a list! It's in my head. Would you like to delve inside my mind and see the list?
eggplant, zuccini, most nuts, pesto, tomato skin, sundried tomato, vegemite... etc
